H.R. 9250 — Great American Outdoors Act 250
What it does
This bill renames the existing National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund to the 'America's Legacy Restoration Fund' and expands its revenue sources to include a new $100+ entrance fee for foreign visitors and a $250+ annual pass for foreign visitors to federal recreational lands. The fund finances deferred maintenance and modernization of parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and public lands managed by Interior and Agriculture departments, with 70% allocated to the National Park Service.
