What it does
The bill tells Customs and Border Protection to find the busiest ports on the northern and southern borders. Drugs are caught at these ports. The agency must set up advanced scanning machines at those ports within two years. The machines must check at least 40% of cars and 70% of trucks. The agency must train workers and report to Congress every year.
