What it does
This bill changes the name of the Gulf of Mexico. It will be called the Gulf of America in all federal documents, maps, and rules. The Secretary of the Interior runs the change. All federal agencies must update their maps and documents within 180 days. The bill does not change any laws or environmental rules.
