What it does
The bill moves federal land in northern Nevada to different owners. Nevada gets about 67 acres for a state park. Douglas County gets about 7,777 acres for public use. The Washoe Tribe gets about 2,423 acres of federal land. About 12,392 acres become protected wilderness. Money from land sales splits three ways. Nevada schools get 5%. Douglas County gets 10%. A special account gets 85%.
