What it does
The bill stops money to schools that work with Chinese government groups. This includes Confucius Institutes and Chinese government learning centers. Schools cannot use teaching materials, staff, or funds from Chinese sources. Schools with old contracts can ask for a one-year waiver. They must prove the contract helps their school and the U.S.
