What it does
This bill requires farm employers to pay workers time-and-a-half for extra hours. The limit starts at 55 hours per week in 2027. It drops to 40 hours by 2030. Small farms with 25 or fewer workers get three extra years. The bill removes rules that let farm employers skip minimum wage and overtime laws.
