S. 252 — GOOD Act
Transparency & Ethics
What it does
This bill requires federal agencies to publish all guidance documents—policy statements, interpretations, memos, notices, blog posts, speeches, and similar non-binding directives—in a single centralized online location within 180 days, and to maintain a record of rescinded guidance with dates and reasons. The bill aims to make agency guidance transparent and accessible to the public, businesses, and regulated entities by consolidating what are currently scattered across agency websites.
Quorum's transparency scan found no buried provisions in GOOD Act.
