What it does
This bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to convey approximately 21,578 acres of federal land in Denali National Park and Preserve to Doyon, Limited (an Alaska Native corporation) within one year, fulfilling a land selection made in 1978 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. The land comes with restrictions: Doyon cannot sell it, mine it, or develop it in ways that harm the cultural significance of the Geese House site, and the park boundary will be adjusted to exclude the conveyed land.
