What it does
This bill amends the Northern Border Security Review Act to require the Department of Homeland Security to submit updated threat analyses for the northern border on September 2, 2026, and every two years thereafter (instead of once, 180 days after enactment). It also mandates that DHS update its northern border strategy within 90 days of each threat analysis, provide classified briefings to Congress within 30 days of each analysis, and develop performance measures for Air and Marine Operations' effectiveness at the northern border within six months.
