H.R. 10304 — Drone Safety Statement Modernization Act
What it does
This bill requires manufacturers of small drones to provide operators with a standardized safety statement at first activation, covering applicable laws, airspace restrictions, safe-operation methods, and enforcement consequences. The FAA must develop and maintain the safety-statement requirements and issue an example template within 120 days, then review and update them annually. Manufacturers are not required to use the FAA's example statement.
Quorum's transparency scan found no buried provisions in Drone Safety Statement Modernization Act.
