What it does
This bill expands whistleblower protections for employees of federal contractors and grantees working on Department of Defense, NASA, and other federal contracts. It protects workers who refuse illegal orders, report fraud, waste, abuse, or safety violations, and explicitly bars executives from retaliating against them or requesting contractors to do so. It also prohibits workers from waiving these protections through employment agreements or arbitration clauses.
