Source — Federal Election Commission bulk data — itemised committee-to-candidate contributions (Schedule B, pas2).

Filters — Direct contributions only. Independent expenditures for or against a candidate are excluded — that money is not given to anyone and is governed differently. Conduit and earmark pass-throughs are excluded so the same dollar is not counted twice.
What this cannot show — Money from individuals who work at the company, dark money through 501(c)(4)s, and leadership-PAC transfers are outside these totals. Money to candidates who never took a seat IS counted in the totals but cannot appear in the member table. Corporate PAC giving is legal, disclosed, and a fraction of total political money.
