What it does
The bill makes more areas with nuclear jobs get bigger tax credits. It adds a 10% tax credit for makers of power grid parts. The bill changes what counts as a nuclear work area. A nuclear plant can keep its tax credit for 10 years. This happens even if jobs drop later.
Who it affects
Nuclear power makers, nuclear part makers, and power grid part makers get tax credits. Areas with nuclear jobs could get more tax money. Power costs might drop over time.
One thing to notice
The bill sets a very low bar for nuclear work areas. Only 0.17% of jobs need to be in nuclear.
