What it does
This bill lets Indiana use 80 acres of land in new ways. The Army gave Indiana this land in 1996 only for parks. The bill says Indiana can change that. But Indiana must give 100 acres of old factory land to the Reuse Authority instead. That 100 acres must stay for parks.
Who it affects
Indiana and the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant Reuse Authority. People in Indiana may see the 80 acres used for other things instead of parks. The Reuse Authority gets factory land to use.
One thing to notice
The bill does not say where the 100 acres of new park land will be. It does not say what happens if the land swap fails.
