What it does
This bill ends the plan to store nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain in Nevada. The Office of Management and Budget must study other uses for the site. It has 180 days to do this study. The Department of Energy must stop its application to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The Department of Energy must clean up the site.
