What it does
This bill lets Indian Tribes and urban Indian groups get money from the CDC. The money is for health crises. It sets aside $750 million each year from 2027 to 2029. Tribes do not have to match the money with their own funds. The bill says at least 10 Tribal groups will get funding. The Secretary of Health and Human Services can change program rules for Tribes. Labor and work rules cannot be changed.
