What it does
Political ads must have a clear notice if they use artificial intelligence. The notice must say the images, audio, or video were made or changed by AI. Ads run on TV, radio, online, mail, and phone calls. People who break this rule can be fined up to $50,000 for each ad. The Federal Election Commission enforces the rule. The law starts right away once Congress passes it.
