What it does
This bill makes the power agency give money to states faster. One program pays for home fixes. One program pays for state power plans. The agency must send money within 30 days of getting plans. The agency must show which states get how much money within 60 days. The bill sets aside $500 million each year for home fixes through 2031. It sets aside $100 million each year for state power work through 2031.
