What it does
This bill changes savings rules for workers in ESOPs. ESOPs let workers own stock in their own firm. Right now, the law counts stock gains and worker money as one total. Workers must pick between letting stock grow or adding their own savings. The bill splits these two limits. Workers in ESOPs could then add stock and also save money at the same time.
