What it does
The bill lets banks pause transactions for up to 85 days. Banks think an older adult or vulnerable person is being cheated. Banks must tell the account holder, trusted contacts, and police within two business days. Banks cannot be sued for delays or refusals made in good faith. Banks must train workers to spot exploitation.
