What it does
This bill bans ending pregnancy with drugs. A doctor must see the patient in person. The doctor must be there during the procedure. The doctor must give special medical waste kits. Breaking this rule means up to 5 years in prison. Each violation costs $50,000 in fines. The bill says life begins at fertilization. Doctors can end pregnancy only to save the pregnant person's life. Doctors can end pregnancy to protect health. Doctors can end pregnancy for ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.
