What it does
The bill tells the State Department to study antisemitism in Europe. It also covers related terrorism threats. The department must talk with European governments about fighting these threats. A State Department official must brief Congress within 180 days. Then the official must report once a year for two more years.
Who it affects
The State Department must do the study and reporting. Congress gets the reports. European governments will be asked to work on this issue.
One thing to notice
The bill sets a 180-day deadline and yearly reports for two years. This makes antisemitism in Europe a regular foreign policy focus.
