What it does
The bill tells the Department of Homeland Security to write down threats to the northern border. The first report is due September 2, 2026. After that, DHS must report every two years. Within 90 days of each report, DHS must update its border security plan. DHS must brief Congress within 30 days of each report. Within six months, DHS must create ways to measure how well Air and Marine Operations work.
