What it does
The bill tells the VA to hire a breast and cancer care helper at each VA region. This must happen within one year. These helpers will work with women soldiers who have breast or cancer. They will connect VA clinics and outside doctors. They will track how well patients do. They will give soldiers facts about urgent care and mental health help. The VA must tell Congress in three years how patients are doing. It must say how fast they get care. It must say if care is safe.
