What it does
This bill gives land to two Arizona counties. Navajo County gets about 5 acres for Pinedale burial ground. Apache County gets about 8.17 acres for Alpine burial ground. The land comes from the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Each county must ask for the land by a set date. Each county must pay for surveys and health checks. The land must be used only as a burial ground. If a county stops using it that way, it goes back to the federal government.
