What it does

The bill makes xylazine a controlled drug. Only vets, pharmacies with vet orders, and some government animal programs can have it. Makers and doctors get 60 days to 1 year to follow new rules. The DEA must report on illegal xylazine sales within 18 months. The FDA must report within 4 years.
