What it does
The bill stops people and companies from building or expanding Israeli settlements. It stops them from paying for settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip after September 30, 2026. It freezes their U.S. money and cancels their visas. It blocks goods made in those settlements from entering the U.S. The Treasury Department must tell banks how to follow these rules. The bill ends after 10 years unless Congress votes to keep it.
Who it affects
The bill affects foreign people and companies that work on settlements. It also affects U.S. banks and companies that import goods. They must check whether goods come from settlements.
One thing to notice
The bill only works if banks and importers can find settlement goods. Goods might come through other countries if they do not follow the same rules.
