What it does

This bill stops Medicare Advantage plans from saying no to care after they said yes. A plan cannot say care was not needed after it gave the okay. The plan cannot reopen a yes decision without good reason or proof of fraud. The plan cannot cut pay by changing how it codes the claim. The rule starts January 1, 2028.
