What it does
This bill adds coffee shops, cafés, and tea houses to federal civil-rights law. They must not refuse service based on religion, race, color, or sex. They must not refuse service based on gender identity, sexual orientation, or national origin. They must not refuse service based on age, disability, genetic information, or veteran status. People who face discrimination can sue under laws from 1964.
