What it does
The bill lets the government give loans of $10,000 to $20,000 to public workers. Workers can use the money to buy homes. The loans must be paid back over 10 years. If a worker sells the home, the loan must be paid back. If a worker moves away for 182 days a year or refinances, the loan must be paid back.
