What it does
The bill changes the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. It bans debt collectors from threatening to cut rank or take away security clearance. Debt collectors also cannot threaten military court or hint these things will happen. The law covers active soldiers, people who left within 365 days, and their relatives.
